Davy Mack is a New York City-based photographer/videographer, musician and a graduate of the NYU Film School. He has developed a large Instagram following for his intimate backstage Broadway photos and NYC street photography.
Davy's photography/videography clients have included Infiniti USA, CapTech University, Quaero, Hunter College, The Weather Channel, Lucky Guy on Broadway with Tom Hanks, Temporary Distortion, G Holdings, Get Storied, the Bianco Martinis, the Michael Louis Band, Columbia University, B Direct Marketing, and NYC musicians John Sully, Geno Henderson, and Shari Pine. His behind the scenes photography has been featured regularly on BroadwayWorld.com, including his most recent shoot of a reahearsal for the new play "Trial" directed by Lori Petty of Orange is the New Black. He is a regular contributor to W42ST Magazine and was recently profiled by them. He has also been interviewed by BroadwayWiz.com and TheEnsemblist.com. Davy's video work was featured in a national commercial for Infiniti and on the Weather Channel's Strangest Weather.
His short film "Last Night at Big Nick's" and his photos of the closing of the Ziegfeld Theatre were featured on Gothamist.com. He also directed the short film "Snow" written by Ashley Griffin. Davy's photography work was shown at two shows at JoJer Gallery in Hell's Kitchen - New York Caught and Shades of Fall. He is available for quick shoots, headshots, music videos, or documentary-style films. Davy Mack has additional crew available for larger shoots, including sound technicians, and he is able to create musical scores when needed.
A local singer/songwriter from NYC, Davy was previously the lead singer for Temple 23, a well-known NYC band in the 90's. He has performed in clubs all over NYC as well as LA and Tokyo. In 2007, he wrote, performed and produced the album Francesca's Brother. His music can be listened to on SoundCloud and is available to purchase on iTunes.
